All members working in public health units are welcome. Local leadership is strongly encouraged to attend to receive information that is critical for supporting your public health local.
Public health workers committee has made gains in connecting with MPPs about the importance of adequate funding for public health for prevention and health protection. At this forum, we are launching a member petition to show the province that public health workers are serious and united in their demands.
On a local level, you will learn about political action strategies to achieve wins in the upcoming municipal election. Learn why municipal elections matter and how to make a difference for public health in your community.
Whether you are on the local executive or just a member who wants to know what’s going on, whether your health unit is going through a merger or not, or if you are considering getting involved – this forum is for you. Let’s continue building capacity together.
